June 10, Fineko/abc.az. After the adoption of the new Law on Gas Supply, the gas price will be determined by the regulator, currently tariffs are determined by the Tariff Council.

ABC.AZ reports that Rakhid Asadov, the head of the department of the Ministry of Energy, said about this during the discussion of the new Draft Law on Gas Supply at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology.

He said that the draft reflects the specific rights and obligations of the gas seller.:

"In addition, the division of subjects will be carried out. Separate legal entities will be identified in the structure determined by the relevant executive authority for the distribution, sale, transportation, wholesale and import of gas."
