June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The branch of Chinese automaker BYD in Uzbekistan is interested in organizing the assembly of cars in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting sales manager in Uzbekistan Azimjon Hasanov.

He noted that the company currently produces 50,000 vehicles per year at its plant in Chirchik (Uzbekistan): "Our main models are Song Plus and Chazor. The production process includes stamping, assembly, painting and welding."

According to Hasanov, the company is exploring the Azerbaijani market: "If there is interest and demand for cooperation, the company is ready to work here."

Referring to the issue of profit, he added that it depends on the conditions that will be created in Azerbaijan.: "If good conditions are provided, the company will consider the possibilities of cooperation."
