June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is planning to expand the coverage of preschool education in Azerbaijan through the introduction of various forms of education.

ABC.AZ informs that the relevant amendments to the Law on Education were discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Science and Education.

According to the proposal, preschool education can be provided not only in preschool institutions, in preparatory groups at secondary schools, in community-based preschool groups, but also in extracurricular education centers.

Research has shown that in some private children's development centers, preschool-age children are also taught. The amendments provide for the official inclusion of such institutions in the pre-school education system.

Thus, it is proposed to expand the list of organizations authorized to train children, including extracurricular institutions where preparatory groups operate.
