June 11, Fineko/abc.az. This May, the tax authorities of Azerbaijan received 32,985 applications (6.2% less versus May 2024).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tax Service, that 94.2% of the received appeals were applications, 5.7% - complaints, 0.1% - suggestions, and 26 appeals are under monitoring.

Of the received appeals, 65.1% were completed for May 2025, and 34.9% are currently under execution.

Of the reviewed appeals, 65.7% were resolved, 33.1% were clarified accordingly, and measures were taken in accordance with the law for the rest. 150 factual complaints were considered, mainly concerning desk tax audits, taxpayer registration, personal accounts, lifting of financial sanctions, actions (inaction) of tax officials and other issues.
