June 12, Fineko/abc.az. OpenAI has released o3-pro, its new flagship language model that will replace o1-pro in the paid versions of ChatGPT.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the developers, the new product copes better with complex tasks in the field of mathematics, programming and science, but it works noticeably slower than its predecessors.

The key innovation was the support of external tools. Depending on the user's request, o3-pro can now access the Internet on its own to search for information, analyze files, write and execute Python code, or work with visual data.

The previous o1-pro model did not have such features. OpenAI emphasizes that due to these complications, the model runs slower, and recommends using it in cases where response accuracy is more important than speed.

The new model is already available to users with ChatGPT Pro and Team subscriptions.

Next week, corporate and educational clients will receive access.

For developers, o3-pro is offered with a context window of 200,000 tokens, and its cost is $20 per million input and $80 per million output tokens.
