June 12, Fineko/abc.az. There are currently 9 enterprises operating in the Aghdam Industrial Park, and more than 5 enterprises are under construction.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Elchin Kazimov, the press secretary of the Economic Zones Development Agency, that it is planned to open an enterprise for production of tobacco output in the Aghdam Industrial Park this year. The work at the enterprise has already been fully completed.

"The AIP resident status was granted to 28 business entities, whose investment portfolio currently exceeds 260 million manats. Four 4 entrepreneurs have non-resident status in the Park. Over 70% of the Park has already been handed over to entrepreneurs. More than 115 million manats of investments were made in the work done by entrepreneurs, 653 people are provided with permanent jobs. Enterprises operating in the AIP produced output for 85 million manats from September 2024 to Q1 of 2025, and products for 63 million manats for Q1 of 2025. Along with the introduction of manufactured products to the domestic market, success is also being achieved in the direction of their export," Kazimov informed.
