IEA ready to take actions in case of oil supply disruptions

June 13, Fineko/abc.az. The International Energy Agency (IEA) is ready to take measures in case of problems with saturation of oil markets after Israeli strikes on Iran, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the head of the organization, Fatih Birol.

"The IEA is actively monitoring how the situation between Israel and Iran will affect the oil markets. Today, the markets are well supplied, but we are ready to act if necessary. The IEA's oil security system has reserves of over 1.2 billion barrels and has proven its vital role in ensuring the security of the global economy," he wrote on X.
