June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the OPEC International Development Fund have signed a framework document on partnership in spheres of cooperation.

ABC.AZ informs that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his page on X.

According to the minister, the document was signed at a meeting with the IDF president, Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, within the forum of the OPEC International Development Fund.

The minister noted that the document covering 2025-2030 provides for support for public and private sector projects in the fields of industry, renewable energy, transport, infrastructure and other areas. The initiatives to be realized in this direction will contribute to climate finance, inclusive growth, and development of small and medium-sized businesses.

"At the meeting with IDF president Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, we noted that mutual relations contribute to diversification of our country's energy sector. We discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, infrastructure and technical assistance," Jabbarov added.
