Over 7 million tons of cargo transported by rail in 5 months

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-May 2025, the cargo transportation by rail in Azerbaijan totaled 7.063 million tons.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the figure is 589,300 tons (7.7%) less against Jan-May 2024.

In 2025, the volume of cargo carried by economic entities operating in the field of transport amounted to 96.8 million tons. 7.3% of cargo was transported by rail.
