June 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, production of natural gas totaled 20.9 bcm in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that of them, 16.192 bcm accounted for commercial natural gas.

For the reported term, natural gas extraction increased by 0.2% versus Jan-May 2024, while commercial gas production grew by 1.7%.

Over the past 5 months, 11.438 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, have been produced in Azerbaijan. Of them, the share of commercial crude oil accounted for 11.4 million tons.

The volume of oil production and commercial oil for Jan-May 2025 was 4.9% less than in the first 5 months of 2024, respectively.
