Volume of oil carried via BTC oil pipeline published

June 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, oil transportation through main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan decreased by 3.4 percent to 15.427 million tons.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, 75.5 percent of shipments were carried out via main export oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) , and for Jan-May 2025 oil transportation via this pipeline declined by 2.84 percent to 11.646 million tons.

During this period, 83.4 percent or 9.7 million tons of oil transported by BTC was oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 16.6 percent or 1.934 million tons was "black gold" coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
