June 18, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of financing for new national project Space, approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin, will amount to 2.2 trillion rubles in 2026-2030 and more than 5 trillion rubles until 2036.

ABC.AZ informs that it includes 8 projects, from satellite communications to "sovereign access to space".

In total, 1,118 Earth remote sensing, communications and relay spacecraft are planned to be launched within the national project over 10 years.

Roscosmos plans to increase the share of private investment in the industry from 5% in 2024 to 35% in 10 years.

Currently, Russia occupies 6.5% of the global launch services market, but by 2036 the share is expected to grow to 28%.
