June 18, Fineko/abc.az. TikTok social network plans to open its online store in Japan — TikTok Shop.

ABC.AZ informs that this feature will allow users to buy products directly in the app while watching live broadcasts or short videos.

The company will receive income in the form of commissions from sellers.

Japanese advertising giant Hakuhodo will offer comprehensive services to Tik Tok Shop suppliers, including planning, operations, and performance analysis. Prior to that, ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, launched Project S. As part of the project, an online store called Trendy Beat was launched on TikTok, where you can buy products from some videos.
