June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Bulgarian Embassy in Iran will temporarily continue to operate from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said this today.

"We are not closing the embassy (in Iran - ed.), but moving it to Baku until the danger passes," Zhelyazkov stated.

Earlier, Hungarian FM Peter Szijjarto said that Budapest had decided to temporarily move the Hungarian embassy from Iran to Azerbaijan amid the escalation in the Middle East.
