June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Elections to the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) will be appointed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of proposals from the Chairman of the NAR Supreme Majlis.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the draft Constitutional Law "On approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic", which will be submitted for discussion at tomorrow's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

According to the current law, elections to the NAR Supreme Mejlis are appointed by the NAR Supreme Mejlis chairman.
