June 24, Fineko/abc.az. By 2030, approx. $700 billion will be attracted to the fintech market. Azerbaijan also aims to achieve relevant goals in this sector by 2030.

ABC.AZ informs that Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, stated about this in his speech at FINTEX SUMMIT 2025 – an exhibition of finance & technology in Baku.

He noted that currently one of the main areas to pay attention to is the fintech sector:

"We should already consider the bank as a business platform. In other words, the bank is no longer a center based on a branch structure. We recognize that the bank is now a platform. The instruction of the President of Azerbaijan is that we develop this business platform. This is a very important issue."
