June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Finances invested in life insurance in Azerbaijan grew by 18%.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-May 2025, the volume of insurance premiums in Azerbaijan through a life insurance company reached 353.385 million manats.

In other words, compared with Jan-May 2024, insurance investments increased by 54.257 million manats.

Thus, in 5 months of 2024, life insurance companies were able to gather 299.128 million manats of insurance premiums.

Over Jan-May 2025, life insurance payments increased by 20% and reached 201.5 million manats. For the the same term of 2024, payments on this type of insurance amounted to 167.865 million manats.
