Domestic railway passenger transport in Azerbaijan rises by 20%

September 3, Fineko/abc.az. Between January and August 2025, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) transported 6,212,865 passengers on domestic routes and the Absheron Circular Line.

This represents a 20% increase compared with the same period in 2024, ABC.AZ reports, citing ADY.

In August alone, 734,218 passengers traveled on domestic routes and the Absheron Circular Line, marking a 12.3% rise compared with August of the previous year.
