September 29, Fineko/abc.az.Over Jan-Aug 2025, 798.213 million manats of insurance premiums were collected in Azerbaijan due to voluntary types of insurance.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the indicator is 15.2% more versus Jan-Aug 2024.

The amount of payments for types of voluntary insurance for Jan-Aug 2025 totaled 510.739 million manats (23.2% more than a year ago).

Thus, in 8 months, up to 64 manats of insurance premiums were paid for every 100 manats collected from the voluntary insurance market. A year ago, this figure was 59.8 manats.

Over Jan-Aug 2025, 1.48 bn manats of insurance premiums were gathered by 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan (12.9% more against Jan-Aug 2024).

The amount of payments made by the insurers reached 603.414 million manats (21.1% more than a year ago).

For the past 8 months, 57.6 manats out of every 100 manats of premiums collected at the insurance market were paid. In the same period of 2024, this figure was 53.7 manats.
