October 3, Fineko/abc.az. A natural monopoly can exist in industries with high capital intensity around the world.  Azerigaz Production Association, as natural monopolists, knows its role and responsibility as natural monopolists.

ABC.AZ informs that Tabriz Ammayev, deputy general director for strategy & sustainability at Azerigaz JSC, noted that tariffs do not always fully reflect market reality.

"During the transition to liberal economy, flexible pricing policy is applied. And this will require a certain period of adaptation for business entities that have been accustomed to fixed tariffs for a long time. The transition to liberal market may be different in each country. Social obligations can increase the real costs of business entities and limit their investment opportunities. But we do not consider social obligations as expenses. This is important from angle of building public trust and protecting public interests," Ammayev emphasized.
