October 14, Fineko/abc.az. The industrial parks established in Azerbaijan act as specialized necessary institutions for attracting highly qualified specialists, in particular, personnel in the non-oil/gas industries.
ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli stated this at the forum on the theme "Investing in Education for the Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan" in Baku.
According to Bashirli, increasing the complexity of the economy is of particular importance in Azerbaijan's development strategy: "The difference between economies is in their complexity. Complexity is realization of production of output, which involves a lot of knowledge and skills."
The deputy minister added that the vocational school, which operates as part of the Sumgait Industrial Park under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy), trains qualified personnel in industry specialties for enterprises operating in our country: "I would like to note the role of the Alat Free Economic Zone in this area. This economic zone creates great conditions for the construction of modern production facilities in Azerbaijan as a country with no direct access to the ocean."
