October 14, Fineko/abc.az. A preliminary version of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2027-30 has been prepared.

ABC.AZ informs that executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications Vusal Gasimli stated about this at the 30th anniversary Azerbaijan international construction exhibition (Baku Build-2025) and the 5th Azerbaijan International Exhibition for the Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh (Rebuild Karabakh – 2025).

He pointed out that the document is being discussed within the government and will be presented in the near future in the appropriate order: "As you know, the president of the country is implementing Vision Strategy 2030 in Azerbaijan. This strategy is divided into two parts. We are almost completing the stage for 2022-26. On behalf of the head of state, Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2027-30 is already being developed. Its approval is expected next year. As you know, development issues related to Big Returns are part of the overall strategy of our state. To date, 21.5 bn manats have been spent in connection with the Great Return. By the end of 2026, this figure will approach 30 bn manats. The expenditure of resources for 2027-2030 has not yet been considered, but I think that 14-15 bn manats will be provided."

Gasimli added that clusterization process is already underway in the territories liberated from occupation: "Shusha has become a center of creativity, Aghdam has become a center of the processing industry, Jabrayil has become a logistics center. We already occupy a dominant position in the Zangezur corridor. Even the biggest forces want to work with us, participate in the process, and give us their advice."
