October 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan produced agricultural output for 11.359 bn million manats.

ABC.AZ informs, citing data from the State Statistics Committee, that the indicator is 0.1% more versus the 2024 same term.

For the past 9 months, the value of country’s crop production decreased by 0.7% to 5.95 bn manats, while the value of livestock products increased by 1.1% up to 5.408 bn manats.

As of October 1, 3.16 million tons were harvested from the fields, including corn, and 0.9% more than 1 year ago, cereals and legumes, 1.67 million tons (2.5% less) of vegetables, 874,800 tons (2% less) of potatoes, 802,300 tons (1% more) fruits and berries, 458,900 (6.3% less) melons, 164,900 tons (3.5% less) of grapes, 146,600 tons (70.2% more) of sugar beet, 28,800 tons (3.6% less) of sunflower, 21,100 tons (7.1% more) of cotton, 6,100 tons (48.7% more) of tobacco, 1,119.9 tons (12.3% more) of green tea leaves.

In 9 months, the country produced 434,300 tons of live meat, including poultry, 1.699 million tons of milk, 1.789 million eggs, 14,600 tons of wool, 186.6 tons of cocoons; in annual terms, egg production increased by 1.9%, meat - by 1.2%, milk - by 0.3%, wool production decreased by 1.3%, cocoons - by 22.1%.
