October 14, Fineko/abc.az. More than 200 million manats have so far been invested in the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park (Jabrayil district, Eastern Zangezur) and the Aghdam Industrial Park (Karabakh).

ABC.AZ reports that the press secretary of the Economic Zones Development Agency, Elchin Kazimli, says that 50 business entities are registered in these industrial parks as residents and 7 non-residents, and more than 1,000 permanent jobs have been created.

"There are 14 enterprises operating in these industrial parks. It is noteworthy that the number of enterprises in the Aghdam Industrial Park exceeds the number of enterprises that existed in the region before the occupation. Thus, Aghdam has restored its former industrial reputation," Agency's spokesperson added.
