October 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the near future, a strong influx of people engaged in health tourism is expected in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that the chairman of board of the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan, Heydeniz Gahramanov, made this statement at the II Azerbaijan Conference on Health Tourism in Baku.

"Today, tourism in Azerbaijan is developing rapidly, and tourism-oriented infrastructure is being built in the country. In a very short time, 3 international airports were constructed in the territories liberated from occupation. Tourism is one of the most important sectors of the non-oil and gas sector and provides an influx of foreign currency into our country, creating new jobs," he said.
