Trade war with China disrupts U.S. exports and reshapes global food market

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. The conflict started by Donald Trump has hit American and European farmers.

ABC.AZ informs that after introduction of duties, China stopped purchases of soybeans from the U.S., switching to Brazil and Argentina. Exports of American agricultural products to China will decrease by 30%, and by 2026 may fall to $9 bn, the lowest since 2007. Trump has promised compensation to farmers, but the payment mechanism has not yet been determined.
