October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND), subordinate to the State Agency for Antimonopoly Control & Consumer Market Supervision, has adopted new state standard AZS ISO 14015:2025 "Environmental Management - Guidelines for environmental due diligence assessment".

ABC.AZ informs with reference to AZSTAND that the standard defines various aspects of the environment and also provides guidance on systematic recommendations for comprehensive research in order to assess their impact on business results, if necessary.

The new state standard was developed by the Ministry of Ecology & Natural Resources on the basis of an authentic translation of the relevant international standard, adopted by consensus in the Technical Committee for Standardization "Ecology" (AZSTAND/TK 09), which AZSTAND approved and submitted to the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
