October 29, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the application of the law from September 30, 2025 on accession to the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides and on the regulation of related Issues.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the decree, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has been designated as the authorized national body provided for by the Convention.

The Cabinet Ministers has been instructed to resolve issues arising from the law, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to send a corresponding notification to the Convention Secretariat stating that the authorized National Body has been identified.
