October 31, Fineko/abc.az. It is important to overcome the difficulties and bureaucratic obstacles associated with export of Azerbaijani products, including agricultural products, through Bulgaria to the European Union and third countries.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture that Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov made this statement during his speech at the 7th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Bulgarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, held in Sofia. Before the meeting, a bilateral meeting was held between the delegation of the Intergovernmental Commission headed by Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov from Azerbaijan and the delegation of the Commission headed by Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov from Bulgaria.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the following issues: areas of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, energy, transport, agriculture, technology transfer, increasing trade turnover, encouraging mutual investments, using the advantages created by the Middle Corridor when exporting products to third countries, cooperation in the field of food security, environmental protection, labor and social protection, healthcare, culture, tourism, etc.
