November 4, Fineko/abc.az. GDP per capita in Azerbaijan is projected at $9,140 in 2029, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov as saying this during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2026 in the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

The minister stressed that the sustainable development of the non-oil/gas sector and its industries is projected in the medium term: "In 2026, projected nominal GDP will reach 134.1 billion manats and nominal GDP in non-oil/gas sector - 101.7 billion manats. Taking into account the projected oil price, GDP per capita in 2026 is projected at $7,667 and in 2029 - $9,140."
