November 6, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to increase excise taxes on energy drinks in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant proposal is reflected in the draft budget for 2026 and envisages amendments to the Tax Code.

According to the document, it is proposed to increase the excise tax rate on non-alcoholic energy drinks from 3.1 up to 3.3 manats per liter (a rise of 6.4%) and on low-alcohol beverages (with alcohol content of no more than 9%) from 0.4 up to 0.5 manats per liter (+25%).
