Inflow of gold into global ETFs amounted to $8.2 bn in October

November 7, Fineko/abc.az. The inflow of gold into global ETFs totaled $8.2 bn in October, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the World Gold Council (WGC).

The volume of purchases amounted to 54.9 tons.

According to the WGC, although the inflow of funds in October slowed compared to the previous month, it remained well above the average since the beginning of the year of $7.1 bn.

From regional prospect, North America and Asia led the global inflows this month, while Europe was the only region experiencing outflows. Total assets under management (AUM) of global gold ETFs rose 6% month-on-month up to $503 bn by the end of October.
