November 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Deputy Finance Minister Anar Karimov held talks in Baku with the delegations of the China Export Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) and the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Finance, that the meeting was devoted to the participation of Chinese companies in the formation of a modern transport system in the capital and its suburbs.

Anar Karimov noted that the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to China in August gave a new impetus to development of economic and investment ties between the two countries, as well as partnership in the field of infrastructure.

He informed the Chinese side about the projects implemented within the State Program for Improving the Transport Infrastructure of Baku and Adjacent Territories for 2025-2030, emphasizing the government's priority in creating a convenient, safe and environmentally sustainable transport system, improving the quality of public transport and developing logistics links on a regional scale.

Representatives of Sinosure and CRBC expressed interest in participating in these projects, as well as in cooperation in the field of engineering, construction, technical and financial support for transport initiatives.
