November 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the next 20 years, people will be able to achieve digital immortality, businessman Elon Musk said during a discussion on the prospects of neurotechnology.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Musk, humanity will learn how to transfer memories into robots or even upload them into a new body.

The head of Neuralink and Tesla said that the technologies being developed will make it possible to create digital copies of human consciousness. Musk added that such "fingerprints of personality" can be loaded into Optimus android robots or transplanted into new biological bodies.

The billionaire stressed that the created copy will not be identical to the original, but will preserve the key character traits and basic memories of the person. This, according to Musk, opens up fundamentally new opportunities for continuing life after a person's death.
