Azerbaijan increases sales of this fruit to Russia by 3 times

November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 748 tons of quince for $802,000 for Jan-Aug 2025.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the indicator is 2.5-fold more versus the 2024 same term in value terms and 2.4-fold in quantity.

Azerbaijan sold 743.9 tons (+2.7-fold) of quince to Russia for $786,000 (2.7-fold more than a year earlier), 0.7 tons (-37%) to Saudi Arabia for $13,900 (+4.5%) and 3.2 tons (-50%) to Kazakhstan for $1,600 (-45%).

Of the 2,903 tons of quince exported from Azerbaijan in 2024, 97% went to Russia.
