November 17, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to complete a full-scale program of work at the Karabakh field by the end of this year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting BP's Vice President for the Caspian region Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli.

He added that preparations are underway for transition to the next stage of work at Karabakh field: "We plan to complete a full-scale work program by the end of the year. Next year, we will begin seismic studies, after which we will present specific concepts and plans for the future development of the field."

Aslanbeyli added that after the approval of the concept, both oil and gas will be extracted from the Karabakh field.
