November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese technology company Xiaomi has more than doubled its net profit, exceeding analysts' expectations in all key indicators.

ABC.AZ informs that for July–September, Xiaomi's net profit reached 12.26 billion yuans ($1.72 billion), compared with 5.34 billion yuans a year earlier. Excluding one-time items, the figure increased 1.8-fold up to 11.31 billion yuans.

The company's consolidated revenue grew by 22.3% up to 113.12 billion yuans.

Founded in 2010, Xiaomi manufactures a wide range of electronics, from smartphones, laptops, and televisions to smart devices for the home and its own electric vehicles. Company's sales geography covers more than 100 countries.
