December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Since the launch of electric vehicles in April 2024, Xiaomi has delivered more than 500,000 cars.

ABC.AZ informs that the Chinese technology giant announced this on social media.

A record short time has passed from the debut of the SU7 model to the release of the 500th car - 602 days. Over the past 3 months, deliveries have consistently exceeded 40,000, which means that the plan of 350,000 vehicles for 2025 has already been completed. The company expects to end the year with 400,000 cars.

Production is carried out at a factory in Beijing. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that this result confirms the effectiveness of the entire chain - from development to service - and means a transition to large-scale growth. Xiaomi has announced plans to launch electric vehicles in 2021 and intends to invest more than $10 billion in the project over 10 years.
