December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, the volume of cargo transported along transport corridor North-South amounted to 6.72 million tons.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 303,200 tons or 4.3% less against the 2024 same term.

Thus, for Jan-Sept 2024, the volume of cargo transported along North-South corridor reached 7.023 million tons.

As a whole, over Jan-Sept 2025, 10.556 million tons of cargo were carried along transport corridors by rail, 8.009 million tons by road, and 5.590 million tons by sea.

Transit cargo made up 46% of goods transported by rail, 41.9% by road, and 94.7% by sea.
