December 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Chinese Passenger Car Association (CPCA) has announced the country's share in the global automotive market.
ABC.AZ informs that in the first 10 months of 2025, China's share in the global automotive market was 34.9%.
In October alone, China's share increased by 1% against Jan-Oct 2024, exceeding 38%.
From January to October, 79.25 million vehicles were sold worldwide (6% more than last year).
Over Jan-Oct 2025, 27.65 million cars were sold in China (12% more).
In 10 months, 13.88 million vehicles were sold in the U.S., 4.56 million in India, 3.86 million in Japan and 2.61 million in Germany.
Of the three Chinese automakers among the Top 10 in the world, BYD ranked 6th, Geely 8th, and Chery 10th.
