December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed the first half of this year with net profit of 1.761 bn manats (14% more against Jan-Jun 2024), ABC.AZ reports, referring to company's financial statements.

For Jan-Jun 2025, SOCAR's profit before taxes amounted to 2.373 bn manats (18.35% more than a year ago), and income tax payments - 612 million manats (33.05% more).

Company's sales income decreased by 5.7% to 42.5 bn manats, but the cost of sales declined more than by 12.6% to 36.127 bn manats. In the end, the overall profit of the commercial organization grew by 71.9% up to 6.373 bn manats.

As of July 1, 2025, SOCAR's assets totaled 96.47 bn manats (1.9% more than a year earlier). Company's liabilities increased by 2.4% up to 47.144 bn manats and the balance sheet capital by 1.4% up to 49.326 bn manats.
