December 11, Fineko/abc.az. (special news) Overdue loans of Bank of Baku (problem loans) have increased sharply. Thus, for the period from January to September 2024 (30.09.2024), the volume of problem loans of Bank of Baku amounted to 28.917 million manats.

According to media reports and financial websites for the first 9 months of this year, the bank's problem loans in mid-2025 (July 1, 2025) totaled 35.25 million manats.

According to ABC.AZ estimates, referring to statistical data, the figure is nearly 55% more than on an annual basis. Thus, the volume of problem loans in one of the country's main banks, Bank of Baku, has increased.
