December 11, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish company Anadolu Isuzu has acquired 75.2% of the government stake of the Samarkand Automobile Plant for $80 million and will invest the same amount in development of the enterprise.

ABC.AZ reports that the plant will create a conveyor for the assembly of large buses and electric buses (12-18 m), as well as a network of service centers in Central Asia, the South Caucasus, the Middle East and Africa. The phased modernization and expansion of production are provided for in a separate investment agreement.
