December 11, Fineko/abc.az. The agreement with Azerbaijan on the supply of natural gas to Hungary is designed for two years, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Hungarian FM Peter Szijjarto.

"Another agreement on the purchase of natural gas: this time with Azerbaijan, for two years, 800 million cu m," he said.

On December 10, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Hungary's MVM ONEnergy signed a new agreement on natural gas supplies.

SOCAR and MVM CEEnergy signed a contract in June 2023 for the supply of 100 million cu m of gas. Deliveries began in April 2024.

In addition, MVM Group owns a 5% stake in the Shah Deniz project and a 4% stake in the South Caucasus Pipeline Company (SCPC, operator of the South Caucasus pipeline).
