December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and the Iranian province of Ardabil have great potential for expanding cooperation in various areas, including trade and investments.

ABC.AZ infoms that Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alekperov made this statement at a meeting with a delegation led by the governor of the Iranian province, Masoud Imami.

Alekperov stressed that the political will of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran and friendly relations give a special impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation. The positive dynamics of the economic partnership development was also noted.

The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the mining industry, agriculture, tourism, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
