December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2025, economic entities operating in the transport sector of Azerbaijan carried 217.9 million tons of cargo (4.2 million tons, or 2% more versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The carriers handled 1.974 billion passengers (103.9 million passengers, or 5.3% more against Jan-Nov 2024).

In the first 11 months of 2025, the volume of goods transported by vehicles belonging to the non-governmental sector increased by 3.3%, and the share of this sector in the overall volume of goods transported made up 80%.
