December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Transportation of close to 1.5 million tons of oil via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan route this year, which corresponds to the initial plans.

ABC.AZ informs Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov of Kazakhstan made the relevant statement at a press conference devoted to the results of the year.

According to the minister, there are no deviations from the approved indicators, and the planned volume will be provided in full.

"The similar volume of supplies is planned for next year, but at the same time it is expected to increase. In the future, the agreement between KazMunayGas and SOCAR in this area envisages transportation of up to 2.2 million tons of oil a year," he said.
