December 16, Fineko/abc.az. - (special news) - The volume of overdue loans of Unibank has increased. The bank does not disclose exact figures in this regard, but our research in this regard gives reason to say so.

Thus, the volume of overdue loans of the bank for Jan-Sept 2024 amounted to 48-53 million manats.

According to ABC's preliminary estimates and information from free access, Unibank's non-performing loans for the first 9 months of this year totaled 50-55 million manats.

These are approximate figures, but in all cases it is clearly seen that there are about 3-5 million problem loans in the bank. This means a significant increase in 9 months.

As overdue loans grow, the bank also has increasing liquidity problems (i.e., cash).

Since the money leaves the bank and is not returned, certain difficulties arise in the bank.
