December 16, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, individuals’ money transfers from Azerbaijan to Central Asian countries amounted to $11.4 million (Jan-Nov 2024 - $18.52 million). Thus, money transfers to the region decreased by $7.12 million, or 38.5%.

The money transfers from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan fell from $7.32 million to $5.09 million, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank. The drop reached $2.23 million (by 30.5%).

The remittances to Uzbekistan for Jan-Sept 2024 totaled $3.88 million and for Jan-Sept 2025 - $2.80 million. This means a decline of $1.08 million (by 27.8%).

The money transfers to Kyrgyzstan grew from $2.34 million up to $3.5 million (a rise of $1.16 million (49.6%) was registered in this area).
