December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan discussed the development of Islamic banking with Al-Hidayah Group (Malaysia).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that CBA CEO Tarlan Rasulov received a delegation led by Al-Hidayah Group’s chairman Dato' Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari.

The sides discussed development of Islamic finance, expansion of the range of products in this area, as well as the possibilities of institutional cooperation. The parties also exchanged views on initiatives aimed at developing Islamic banking within the CBA-approved Financial Sector Development Strategy 2024-2026.
